Lord what a week it’s been! Pat yourself on the back. Did you send your kid to school? Start your own course of studies? Kick ass at work? Cure Cancer? I know you’re dying to leave the office, classroom, whatever it is and just thank his name, blessed be he for giving you a day of rest. I’m not here to slow you down …
In honor of your tough week and a job(s) WELL DONE, or next week’s upcoming “firsts” (I know some of your kids start school next week, others who have job interviews lined up, start new jobs, have project work that will take you through the weekend, your little fetuses are in gestation, or maybe some hard partying awaits) – whatever it is – I want to leave you with something light and happy.
A call the above picture “Ballet Dad.” You might know him already. He’s doing a plie (ugh – where are the French accents on my keyboard?). And since a picture is worth a thousand words, or laughs or tears – I’ll leave you to do the rest.
Have a lovely weekend.
And P.S. Thanks Fast Company for publishing The Rise of Visual Social Media – Just a good look at how we’ve moved from consuming larger texts to smaller blogs, to micro blogs (140 character Twitter updates) – to consuming more visual social media. I’ve lately really enjoyed getting photographic updates of my friends’ vacations and/or daily lives. (Or maybe this is just another sign my attention span is shot).
